Firm News: Meghan Zupancic, Esquire Joins McMorrow Law

McMorrow Law, LLC would like to welcome Meghan L. Zupancic to the firm. Meghan joined McMorrow Law as an associate attorney. Meghan attended the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated cum laude in 2009. Meghan is a 2012 graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law. During law school Meghan was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity and family law society. She won an accolade for “Outstanding Oral Argument” in her Legal Research and Writing Class during her first year of law school. She is also the recipient of the Cali Excellence for the Future Award for obtaining the highest grade in her section for Contracts. Meghan will focus on the areas of family law, estate planning, litigation and criminal defense.

Previously, Meghan worked as a law clerk for Notaro & Associates, another Pittsburgh family law practice. She also served as a certified legal intern at KidsVoice during her third year of law school. Kids Voice represents children in dependency actions in Juvenile Court where Children, Youth and Family Services are involved. Meghan acted as a guardian ad litem (child advocate) and zealously advocated for her young clients working to ensure their safety and stability and that their best interests were being protected.

Meghan is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association Family Law Section, Young Lawyer’s Division, Sole and Small Firm Practitioner’s Section and Women in the Law Division. Meghan is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Family Law Section. Meghan lives in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh with her husband, Jeremiah, and their two young sons, Austin and Kane.
